This is quite obvious, but duplicate content does not fare well with Google. Duplicate content makes your website look less useful in the eyes of Google. Therefore, make your content look unique and well-written at all times, and use online tools which help you cut down on copied material.


3) H1 tag overload:


Always structure your content correctly with SEO. H1 tags help Google understand what the page is about. Excessive use of H1 tag might cause your website to look like it is trying to pump out more keywords.


4) 404 errors:


Google always make sure that your content is to-the-mark and error-free at all times. If you are delivering 404 errors inside of your website, it is a signal that your users aren’t getting the information they are looking for.

Everyone gets upset when a website goes down: the webmaster, the search engine and the visitor. If Google fails to find your site, then it would de-index your website rather than sending customers to a dead end.

Although Google does not oppose the use of affiliate links, using them in high-quality is a red flag on the content being not up to the mark. It is possible to mask the links with redirects, but Google is smart enough to detect it, therefore, stay away from those!


13) Slow speeds:


Slow speeds can easily frustrate your users. Factors slowing down your website can be many; therefore, it can be a tricky problem to assess and troubleshoot. Use cache plug-in or CDN to help you with the speeds. Also, consider moving your site to a data center near to your visitors.


14) Comment spam:
